The Narration in Zoo is first person. The whole story so far, is from Jackson Oz’s point of view. It talks a little bit about his personal life and it goes on to show his specific perspective in certain situations.

I like how James Patterson picked first person to write in because it really helps me connect to the story better. I feel like I am right there with Jackson and he is telling me what is happening. The use of first person also gives a little bit more character to the book. I am able to see the specific characteristics and personality traits that he displays and that even further develops my connections with the book and the characters.
